Galatasaray fans showed their support for Kerem Aktürkoğlu, one of the team's captains, during the opening match of the new Trendyol Super League season against Hatayspor.
The yellow-red spectators called Aktürkoğlu to the stands and cheered for him. Meanwhile, a banner featuring a photo of Kerem Aktürkoğlu and the words "We are behind you, Captain" was unfurled.
It had been alleged that the 25-year-old footballer, one of Galatasaray's captains, reacted excessively in the locker room upon learning he was being substituted at halftime during the Super Cup match and that he had caused problems within the team.
