Barcelona counts down the days to its return to Camp Nou

Barcelona Club has announced that it will return to Camp Nou on August 10 following long-running renovation work. These works, carried out by Limak Construction, include the modernization of the stadium as part of the Espai Barça project.

DETAILS AND SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

The Espai Barça project includes the complete renovation of Camp Nou, the construction of a new Blaugrana Hall, and the improvement of club facilities in the Les Corts district. The total cost of the project is estimated at 1.45 billion euros, and upon completion, Camp Nou will be the largest stadium in Europe with a capacity of 105 thousand spectators.

EXCITEMENT AMONG THE CATALANS

In a statement made via its social media accounts and website, Barcelona stated that it would play its traditional preseason match, known as the Joan Gamper Trophy, at Camp Nou after a two-year hiatus. This match marks the partial opening of the stadium, and capacity will be limited for security reasons. Ongoing construction work will continue.
