Beşiktaş's foreign referee move: Urs Meier is coming to Istanbul
Following the TFF's rejection of their request for a foreign referee for the Galatasaray derby, Beşiktaş has made a striking move. The black-and-white club will bring world-renowned former referee Urs Meier to Istanbul to observe the derby. It is also suggested that a former Turkish referee, in addition to Meier, will observe the match.
Beşiktaş's request for a foreign referee for the Galatasaray derby was not accepted by the TFF, and Yasin Kol was appointed to the match.
Reacting sharply to the decision for a domestic referee, Beşiktaş is set to make a striking move for the derby.

According to the report on beIN Sports, Beşiktaş will bring the world-renowned Swiss former referee Urs Meier to Istanbul to observe the derby.
It is claimed that the black-and-white club will also have a former Turkish referee observe the match in addition to Urs Meier.
