Beşiktaş's debt announced: Increase in the last 9 months

The increase in Beşiktaş's debt came to light at the club's 2026 2nd Ordinary Council Meeting. Members gathered at the Beşiktaş Municipality Süleyman Seba Culture and Arts Center to evaluate the financial statement of the black-and-white club.

Audit board member Özgür Şentürk, who took the floor at the council meeting, shared the financial data covering the nine-month period between June 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026, with the members. According to the information provided by Şentürk, the club's net debt was determined to be 26 billion 263 million 695 thousand 438 Turkish Lira as of February 28, 2026. This figure represents a 38 percent increase compared to the debt of approximately 18 billion lira recorded on May 31, 2025.

Reminding the members of data from previous periods, Şentürk stated that the debt announced at the end of November 2025 was 24 billion 362 million 49 thousand 178 Turkish Lira.
