Beşiktaş unveils special logo for its 123rd anniversary

A two-week period filled with meaningful events awaits fans and the community between the club's founding anniversary, which Beşiktaş will celebrate on March 3, and World Beşiktaş Fans Day on March 19. Beşiktaş Club General Secretary Uğur Fora issued a written statement regarding the new logo developed for the club's special anniversary celebrations and the programs to be organized.

The statement read, "March is a very important and meaningful month for us Beşiktaş fans. March 3 is the founding anniversary of our Beşiktaş, which was born as a neighborhood club and became a world-renowned club, while March 19 is World Beşiktaş Fans Day.

We will hold a series of events throughout the two-week period between our March 3 founding anniversary and March 19 World Beşiktaş Fans Day. As the first step in our 123rd-year celebrations, we have designed a very stylish logo. We have adorned every corner of our district with our glorious crest and our 123rd-year logo.

As part of the founding anniversary events, we will host disadvantaged children and students studying in schools within the Beşiktaş district at our Ziraat Turkish Cup match against Çaykur Rizespor.

We will hold a grand ceremony and an iftar program on March 3, our founding anniversary. We will make these meaningful days even more significant with a book donation campaign we will carry out.

As part of our founding anniversary, we will commemorate our founders and Zübeyde Hanım, the mother of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, whom he entrusted to the people of Beşiktaş while departing for Samsun, at their gravesites.

On this occasion, I respectfully and mercifully commemorate our founders, as well as our former presidents, former board members, and former athletes who are no longer with us," the statement concluded.
