Bodrumspor-Eyüpspor match ends in chaos!

Chaos erupted during the Bodrum FK-Eyüpspor match played in the 25th week of the Turkish 1st League.

The match, which brought league leaders Eyüpspor and Bodrum FK together at the Bodrum District Stadium in the race for the Super League, was halted for 15 minutes due to incidents that occurred in the final part of the first half.

In the match in Bodrum, the home team's manager, İsmet Taşdemir, was sent off by referee Gürcan Hasova with a red card after he protested a foul on Celal in the 45th minute with aggressive behavior and profanity, causing the situation to escalate.

As home fans rained foreign objects from the stands onto the pitch and the visiting team's bench, Eyüpspor Manager Arda Turan and substitute player Uğur Demirok were struck by the objects thrown.

TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL

Demirok experienced difficult moments due to the object that struck his face, resulting in bruising, and he was taken from the pitch by ambulance to the hospital.

CLUB PRESIDENTS ENTERED THE PITCH

Following the incidents, the club presidents went onto the pitch to calm the tension. Bodrum FK President Fikret Öztürk and Eyüpspor President Murat Özkaya entered the field and approached the stands.

Öztürk and Özkaya walked arm in arm to the front of the stands and tried to calm the fans. Both presidents toured the stands one by one, engaging in dialogue with the fans for a long time to demand an end to the unrest.

The game, which was stopped for approximately 15 minutes, was restarted once the tension subsided. Referee Gürcan Hasova and his assistants were only able to head to the locker room under the supervision of riot police teams once the first half, which lasted approximately 65 minutes due to the stoppage, was completed.
