Fenerbahçe advanced to the Round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League after defeating Belgian side Anderlecht with a 5-2 aggregate score in the two-legged play-off round. While the Yellow-Navy Blues stand out as the only Turkish team continuing their journey in Europe, Galatasaray bid farewell to the tournament after being eliminated by AZ Alkmaar with a 6-3 aggregate score.
The UEFA Europa League Round of 16 draw took place on Friday, February 21, at 15:00 TSI in Nyon, Switzerland. Fenerbahçe's opponent is the Scottish side Rangers.
FIRST LEG IN KADIKÖY
The Round of 16 matches will be played on March 6 and 13. The first leg will be held at Ülker Stadium in Kadıköy, and the return leg will take place at Ibrox Stadium in Scotland.
If our yellow-navy representative eliminates Glasgow Rangers, they will play against the winner of the Roma-Athletic Bilbao matchup in the quarter-finals.
