General assembly call from Ali Koç: An important duty falls to congress members!

Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç has issued a call to members for the Extraordinary General Assembly to be held on Tuesday, April 2, at the Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, where Fenerbahçe will also bring the possibility of withdrawing from the league to the agenda.

Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç used the following expressions in his call:

"THE CHAIN OF INJUSTICES TO WHICH FENERBAHÇE IS SUBJECTED IS KNOWN TO US ALL"

"Our Precious Community, Our Dear Congress Members, I greet you all with love and respect. As the Fenerbahçe Sports Club and its community, as you know, the chain of injustices and unfairness to which our Club has been subjected and forced to struggle against since the July 3 process is known to us all. As a community, we have been going through processes for a long time where what we have tried to explain in every medium has not been understood, what we have voiced has not found sufficient response, and injustices have increased exponentially. We witness this together every passing day, every week, every season. Despite this systematic evil deemed appropriate for our Fenerbahçe; as a strong reflection of the identity it possesses, we have emphasized our respect for our country's values, our commitment to our national values, and our sense of belonging to our homeland at every opportunity, and we have never deviated from this consciousness. We have continued to stand tall against all injustices, to serve our country despite everything that has been done, to raise athletes who play for the top in every branch of sports and represent our Turkey, to develop young people who proudly carry our flag in the national and international arena, and to be a home for hundreds of children in our youth academies.

"A VERY IMPORTANT DUTY FALLS TO OUR CONGRESS MEMBERS"

 As of the point we have reached today; it has now become a necessity for our Club, which has millions of fans, to turn to its community and question what has been experienced internally while our Fenerbahçe does these things. Here, a very important duty falls to our congress members who represent millions. We cannot hold this meeting, which I see as a milestone in the history of our Fenerbahçe, in the way we want without your participation, support, interest, and added value.

"THERE SHOULD NOT BE, AND THERE WILL NOT BE, A SECOND DAY FOR THIS"

 Our Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting, which we will hold on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 17:00 at the Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, carries a historical identity for all these reasons. In accordance with Article 24, Clause 2 of our Statute, if the qualified majority is not achieved in the first meeting, our meeting will have to be postponed to 1 week later, as is always the case. However, Fenerbahçe is going through such days that there should not be, and there will not be, a second day for this.

"I REQUEST THAT YOU ENSURE THE ABSOLUTE MAJORITY ON APRIL 2"

 I have no doubt that everyone who says 'I am a Fenerbahçe fan' will take their place in this meeting on April 2 with the responsibility they carry on their shoulders. As the 37th President of the Fenerbahçe Sports Club, which has a proud history of over a century, I kindly request that you, our esteemed congress members, ensure the absolute majority on April 2, the first date of our Extraordinary General Assembly, with the awareness of the responsibility you carry, and support our club. I have full faith that we will once again demonstrate and shout out in the strongest way possible the shoulder-to-shoulder stance of those who say 'Let Fenerbahçe play on the street, we will support them from the sidewalk' during this critical period for Fenerbahçe.
