Cedric Soares to replace Boey: 2.5-year contract

Having sold Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich for 30 million euros, Galatasaray aims to strengthen the right-back position with Arsenal player Cedric Soares.

According to a report by the British press outlet Football London, the yellow-reds are allegedly looking to add Cedric Soares from Arsenal to their squad within the next few days.

It was stated that Galatasaray is prepared to pay a modest fee for Soares, whose contract with the Premier League team expires at the end of the season.

While it is claimed that the yellow-red team will offer the Portuguese footballer a 2.5-year contract, it was noted that Arsenal will not stand in the way of the departure of Cedric Soares, who earns 100 thousand pounds per week.

The report also recalled that the mid-season transfer window in Turkey remains open until February 9, stating that with Boey's departure, Galatasaray wants to reach an agreement with experienced right-back Cedric Soares.

The 32-year-old footballer has played in 3 matches for Arsenal this season, remaining on the pitch for 134 minutes.
