Cenk Tosun reaches agreement with TFF 1. Lig team
After becoming a free agent following his Süper Lig career, forward Cenk Tosun will wear the jersey of TFF 1. Lig side Fatih Karagümrük in the new season.
Following his most recent season at Kasımpaşa, Cenk Tosun, who was without a contract with any club, has shaken hands with Fatih Karagümrük for the upcoming season. According to the report by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, it was learned that the final details of the contract were being discussed during the negotiations.
The 35-year-old experienced goalscorer began his football career in Germany in the Eintracht Frankfurt youth academy. Making a name for himself in Turkey with Gaziantepspor, Tosun later played for the clubs Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Kasımpaşa.
Tosun, who left a mark in the memories of football fans especially with his performance at Beşiktaş, was transferred to Premier League representative Everton in the 2017-18 season. In England, he also served on loan at Crystal Palace.
During his time playing in the Süper Lig, Cenk Tosun appeared in a total of 302 matches, recording a performance of 106 goals and 47 assists.
