Comolli stands in the way of Mourinho's request at Fenerbahçe
Following their move for Jhon Duran, Fenerbahçe has turned its attention to another star from the Premier League at the request of Jose Mourinho. The management has sat down at the table for the Tottenham midfielder.
Aiming for the championship under the leadership of Jose Mourinho in the new season, Fenerbahçe has stepped up its transfer efforts. Following Colombian striker Jhon Duran, the Yellow-Navies have initiated attempts for Tottenham Hotspur player Yves Bissouma.
Fenerbahçe, which wants to add the Malian midfielder playing in the English Premier League to its squad, is expected to start initial talks by offering a bid of 15 million euros.
HE WAS TRANSFERRED FOR 30 MILLION EUROS
Tottenham signed Yves Bissouma from Brighton in 2022 for a transfer fee of 30 million euros. The 27-year-old footballer, who has a current market value of around 25 million euros, has a contract with the English team that runs until 2026.
Bissouma, who played in 44 matches in all competitions last season, found the back of the net twice.
ANOTHER OBSTACLE: COMOLLI IS INVOLVED
Fenerbahçe is facing a strong rival in this transfer. The former sporting director of the Yellow-Navy club, Damien Comolli, has stepped in on behalf of Juventus for Bissouma.
It is stated that Comolli, who has established close contact with the Italian representative, is playing an active role in bringing the player to the Turin team.
As it will be remembered, Comolli had previously directed Jonathan David, who was on Fenerbahçe's transfer list, to Juventus as well.
