Controversial remarks from Serdar Ali Çelikler that will anger Trabzonspor fans: 'Uğurcan has regained his health...'

In the 24th week of the Süper Lig, Beşiktaş defeated Trabzonspor 2-0 with goals from Semih Kılıçsoy, raising their points to 39, moving ahead of their burgundy-blue rivals and settling into 3rd place in the standings.

"HE WAS LIKE HE WAS PARTIALLY PARALYZED"

Reacting to Uğurcan Çakır's words, "We have been losing for 3 matches," Çelikler said, "He didn't remember the 4th match, so he must not be counting the Galatasaray match. It has been 4 matches. He isn't counting the 4th match because he himself looked like he was partially paralyzed in that match. I am happy in that sense that he has regained his health. He can lift his arms and hands now," he stated.

STATEMENT FROM UĞURCAN ÇAKIR

Stating that they did not deserve the defeat, Uğurcan Çakır said, "We have been losing for 3 matches. Honestly, some things are not going right. We were applying the things we wanted on the pitch, but we lost the match without giving away a clear position. We made very amateur mistakes in defense. Everyone needs to put their hat in front of them and think. We apologize to our fans very much. We will try to bring Trabzonspor to the place it deserves. We did not deserve the defeat."

Çakır also added the following:

"I am not blaming my coaches or my teammates. Sometimes you need to take 2-3 steps back to move forward. We are sad. We need to work harder and carry the team to better places."
