Criminal complaint from Galatasaray
Galatasaray Sports Club has announced that it has filed a criminal complaint against suspects who have been posing as club employees to obtain financial gain.
Galatasaray has initiated legal proceedings against individuals attempting to gain unfair profit by posing as club employees. The yellow-red club announced that it has filed a criminal complaint against these individuals with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The club's official statement included the following: "A criminal complaint was filed by our Club with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on 13.02.2025 against suspects who have been posing as our Club's employees to obtain financial gain."
Furthermore, it was emphasized that Galatasaray does not conduct any fundraising or sales activities via telephone, stating: "We would like to inform you that calls made in this context have no connection to our Club, and we urge you to be cautious and not to give credence to such calls."
The club called on its fans to be vigilant against fraud attempts and requested that those who encounter such suspicious situations report them to the authorities.
