In his statement, the experienced coach said, "To the great Adana Demirspor community, I have served in various levels of the technical staff at Adana Demirspor for five seasons, and at times as the head coach. From the first day I took office, I did my best and served this great community.
We experienced the pride of the championship that came after 26 years and the European campaign together. Despite all the negativity the club has been in recently, my team and I fought with all our might. As of today, I have resigned from my post of my own volition," he stated.
