Dursun Özbek and Ekrem İmamoğlu meet: You didn't mention the tie!

IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu visited Galatasaray today, following his visit to Fenerbahçe the previous day.

İmamoğlu met with Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek and held a discussion.

The two later held a joint press conference.

After the meeting, referring to İmamoğlu's remark during his Fenerbahçe visit, "We waited ten times for a yellow-navy blue tie to come to me, but it didn't, honestly," Özbek said, "You didn't mention the tie."

İmamoğlu replied, "I received my gift, yes."

Ekrem İmamoğlu concluded his program after receiving a special edition number 34 Galatasaray jersey.

FOLLOWING THE FAMILIAR POSE WITH KURUM

Dursun Özbek had recently attended the “Producing Istanbul, Growing Turkey Program” organized by AKP's IMM candidate Murat Kurum at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel as part of his election campaign, where Kurum had patted Özbek's cheeks.

Özbek had previously made the following statements regarding Kurum:

“I know very well how the honorable minister views Istanbul. We had the opportunity to discuss these matters both during his time at Emlak Konut and within the framework of his duties after becoming minister. My personal opinion is that the honorable minister is a chance for Istanbul… I am extremely confident that he will continue his activities specifically within the framework of Istanbul's needs.”
