Dursun Özbek and his board granted authorization
At the Galatasaray Extraordinary General Assembly, President Dursun Özbek and his board were granted authorization regarding the development of the Florya land and the restoration of Galatasaray Island in accordance with the new zoning plan.
The Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting, held to request authorization regarding real estate projects and club properties at Galatasaray, took place at the Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center, Anadolu Auditorium Hall.
Following the speeches, the items for which the board of directors would be granted authorization were read out one by one and put to a vote.
President Dursun Özbek and his board were granted authorization regarding the development of the Florya land. Following the vote, President Özbek conveyed his thanks to the club members.
In the statement made by the yellow-reds regarding the matter, it was stated, "At the Galatasaray Sports Club Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting, it was decided to grant authorization to President Dursun Aydın Özbek and the Board of Directors until 31.05.2026, in accordance with paragraphs 10, 12, and 13 of Article 24 and Article 145 of our bylaws, for the execution of the specified activities and the realization of the relevant legal transactions and dispositions."
