Dusan Tadic: 'We stayed too far from the opponent'
Fenerbahçe's Dusan Tadic made statements after the team's 3-2 away loss to Olympiakos in the UEFA Conference League.
UEFA Conference League quarter-final excitement continues. Our only representative in the tournament, Fenerbahçe, faced Olympiakos in Piraeus. The yellow-navy team left the pitch with a 3-2 defeat.
Speaking after the match, Dusan Tadic said, "We stayed a bit too far from the opponent. We had talked before the match about not giving them space. Olympiakos is a quality team; they are good at playing with the ball. We were lacking in this regard. We were good in the second half, especially in the last 30 minutes. Coming back from 3-0 to 3-2 might be a positive sign, but we are not satisfied. We are Fenerbahçe, we wanted to win."
"Of course, we will analyze the opponent. As I said, we are not happy with this result. We want to win every match. We will play one more match in Istanbul. We want to win with the support of our fans and write our name in the semi-finals," he added.
