Emre Yazıcı: 'We will be more ambitious next year'

Trabzonspor Club Board Member in Charge of Projects and Sponsorships Birhan Emre Yazıcı met with students from the Faruk Başaran Science and Art Center in Trabzon.

Speaking at the "From Sports to Brand, Success is in the Spirit" talk organized by the center's Space and Aviation Club, Yazıcı mentioned that he was involved in swimming for 13 years.

Stating that sports are a way of life for him, Yazıcı said, "It does not matter which sport you are involved in. It could be swimming, basketball, or football, but you must be involved in sports."

Yazıcı expressed that victory, draws, and defeat are in the nature of football, adding, "Undoubtedly, Trabzonspor is a very large community, and as a club, we always have dreams of winning the championship, but we are going through a known period this year. Both our coach, our executives, and our president have made statements regarding this. Let us finish this year in a good way, and we will be much more ambitious next year."

Emphasizing that young people are the future of the country, Yazıcı shared his experiences with the students and offered various pieces of advice.

Explaining that he is proud to serve at Trabzonspor, Yazıcı said, "It is a duty that I am very honored to hold. These are tasks and responsibilities that not everyone gets to have. It may require you to sacrifice a lot from your own life, but we came to these positions knowing this responsibility."

Faruk Başaran Science and Art Center Director Selçuk İslamoğlu presented a plaque to Yazıcı, who gifted Trabzonspor jerseys to 120 students.
