Ernest Muçi has the final say: A critical 3 points for the Burgundy-Blues

An exciting match took place at the Turka Araç Muayene Kocaeli Stadium during the 18th week of the Süper Lig. In the match played between Kocaelispor and Trabzonspor, the visiting team left the pitch victorious with a goal found in stoppage time.

In the 18th minute of the match, the home side Kocaelispor took the lead with a goal from Bruno Petkovic. With this goal, the Croatian footballer managed to find the net for the 6th time in his 12th league match.

TRABZONSPOR LEVELS THE SCORE

Trabzonspor leveled the score in the final moments of the first half. In the 44th minute, Felipe Augusto rose well between the opposing defenders from an Oleksandr Zubkov cross, making the score 1-1 with a header. The young Brazilian forward has now scored his third goal in his last two Süper Lig matches and his ninth overall this season.

While both teams pushed for a win in the second half, Kocaelispor missed clear opportunities, particularly through Tayfur Bingöl and Karol Linetty. For Trabzonspor, the defense led by Batagov and goalkeeper Onana did not allow a goal during critical moments.

The tempo of the game increased significantly as the match entered its final moments. Although Kocaelispor approached a goal with Can Keleş in the 84th minute, Batagov intervened to prevent the danger. A minute later, Linetty missing a clear opportunity from a position set up by Petkovic was recorded as a great misfortune for the home team.

MUÇİ HAS THE FINAL SAY

The fate of the match changed in stoppage time. In the 90+1st minute, Ernest Muçi, who headed toward the penalty area with the ball he received on the left wing, sent the ball into the net from between the defense with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty arc, putting his team ahead 2-1. Thus, Muçi added a new contribution to his performance of eight goals and two assists in the last six matches.

With this result, Trabzonspor, which had been winless for two matches, increased its points to 39, while Kocaelispor's six-match unbeaten streak in the league and seven-match unbeaten streak at home came to an end. Kocaelispor remained at 23 points.

Trabzonspor will host Kasımpaşa at home in the 19th week of the league. Kocaelispor will face Samsunspor away.

Some of the highlights of the match were: - The failure to convert a clear position Petkovic set up for Linetty in the 79th minute, - Kocaelispor's inability to get past goalkeeper Onana with Tayfur Bingöl in the 63rd minute, - Smolcic leaving the game due to injury in the 57th minute, - Kocaelispor approaching a goal with a shot from Tayfur in the 52nd minute, and - Can Keleş being blocked by Batagov in the 84th minute were among the critical moments of the match.

A total of three goals were scored in the tough contest, and Trabzonspor's effective play in stoppage time secured the victory.
