Fatih Terim reacts to referees after dropping points
Panathinaikos manager Fatih Terim reacted to the referees following the 2-2 draw against Lamia.
In the 23rd week of the Greek Super League, Panathinaikos, managed by Fatih Terim, faced Lamia.
Terim's side drew 2-2 with Lamia.
Suffering a critical loss with 3 weeks remaining, Panathinaikos sits in second place, level on points with PAOK, who have a game in hand. After the match, manager Fatih Terim expressed his frustration with the Greek referees.
"OUR MISTAKE"
Fatih Terim stated, "It is a result that has nothing to do with luck. We absolutely had to win. Our opponent came and found positions and goals 3-4 times. It is our mistake. We shouldn't have given away those chances. In football, sometimes everything can happen at once. Despite this, the victory was within our reach, but we couldn't capitalize on set pieces. Now the goal is Wednesday's match."
"I DON'T UNDERSTAND"
Continuing his remarks, Terim said, "I also don't understand the +5 minutes of stoppage time in a game like this. If you act like this, you are rewarding the side that doesn't want to play rather than the one that does."
