According to a report by Hürriyet, it is stated that Fatih Terim will earn 900 thousand euros per year at Panathinaikos, and it was noted that this transfer has caused a stir in the Greek press. Additionally, it was reported that Terim, who was brought in to fill the vacancy left by Jovanovic's departure, will receive the same salary that Jovanovic was earning.

On the other hand, Fatih Terim and Serbian footballer Djuricic, whom Galatasaray tried to transfer during the 2012/13 season, came together in Athens 11 years later. After detailing Djuricic's experiences at various clubs throughout his football career, the performance the Serbian footballer has shown this season in a Panathinaikos jersey was also highlighted.
