Group stage matches in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League have concluded.
Our only representative in the Champions League, Galatasaray, was defeated 1-0 by Danish side Copenhagen in their final match in Group A. With this result, the Yellow-Reds will continue their journey in the UEFA Europa League.
Following the Galatasaray match, all eyes turned to the Conference League matches of Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.
Our representative Fenerbahçe defeated the Slovak side Spartak Trnava 4-0 at home. With this result, the Yellow-Navies finished Group H as leaders and advanced to the Round of 16. Beşiktaş, whose elimination from the group was already certain, closed their European campaign by defeating Lugano 2-0 in their final match.
Turkey, which has been in the top 10 with the points collected this season, was in 9th place. While Belgium ahead of us was widening the gap and Scotland right behind us was increasing their points, the victories from Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe have pushed Turkey one step further.
