In the 18th minute of the match played at Fatih Terim Stadium, Başakşehir won a penalty. After Leo Duarte went down in the penalty area following a challenge by Sofyan Amrabat, the referee pointed to the penalty spot.

Krzysztof Piatek stepped up to take the penalty, but Dominik Livakovic denied him the goal.

Fenerbahçe took the lead in the 44th minute of the match. Mert Müldür, who slipped behind the defense following a pass from İsmail Yüksek, entered the penalty area and sent the ball into the net with a chip shot over Başakşehir goalkeeper Muhammed Şengezer.

Oğuz Aydın, who took the stage in the 90+5th minute for Fenerbahçe, set the final score of the match with his goal: 4-1.

With this result, Fenerbahçe increased its points to 78 and sits in 2nd place, 5 points behind league leaders Galatasaray with a game in hand. Başakşehir remains at 51 points and is in 5th place.

Next week in the league, Fenerbahçe will host Eyüpspor at home, while Başakşehir will be the guest of Kasımpaşa.
