Fenerbahçe decides on Extraordinary General Assembly

Fenerbahçe has announced that its Elective Extraordinary General Assembly will be held on September 20-21.

The president of the yellow-navy club, Ali Koç, made statements regarding the election date of Fenerbahçe on the official website.

President Koç stated, "In our announcement on May 18, 2025, we informed our community that we would hold the Fenerbahçe Sports Club Elective Extraordinary General Assembly in September and that the exact dates would be decided after the 2025-2026 league fixtures were determined.

As a result of the draws held today at the Turkish Football Federation, our team's match schedule has been determined. Our board of directors has decided to hold the Elective Extraordinary General Assembly on September 13-14; in the event that a sufficient majority is not reached at the first meeting, the congress will be held on September 20-21. Since the day we took office, we have stood against all kinds of difficulties to protect the interests of our Fenerbahçe. We have fought against every step planned to weaken this community. We have not remained silent against those who target the unity and solidarity of our Fenerbahçe, and we never will. We came to this duty to take responsibility, no matter the cost.

If we are standing tall against the organized evil that some factions have been systematically carrying out with lies and slanders recently, it is thanks to the righteousness of our Fenerbahçe and our belief in conscientious people.

For the unity, independence, and future of our Fenerbahçe, we are now leaving this struggle to the will of the congress, which is the true owner of our club.

Let no one have any concerns; as the board of directors, we will continue to work with devotion to prepare our club for the new season in all branches until the date of the congress.

We will show great diligence so that the congress process does not disrupt these preparations. I call on our entire community to support our club at this historic turning point. Because this is not just an election, it is a matter of taking ownership of the future of our Fenerbahçe," he said.
