Fenerbahçe fans welcome new signing N'Golo Kante
Fenerbahçe's new signing, French player N'Golo Kante, has arrived in Istanbul.
Continuing its transfer efforts, Fenerbahçe has bolstered its midfield with a significant name. The yellow-navy blues have added N'Golo Kante to their squad, following the mid-season signings of Anthony Musaba, Mert Günok, Matteo Guendouzi, and Sidiki Cherif. A deal was reached with N'Golo Kante, who most recently played for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad and had been in negotiations for a long time, successfully concluding the transfer. The 34-year-old footballer landed at Sabiha Gökçen Airport's General Aviation Terminal today at around 22:00.
The experienced midfielder was accompanied by Board Members Ertan Torunoğulları, Cem Ciritci, and Ömer Topbaş. Thousands of Fenerbahçe fans arrived at the airport for the French star, and extensive security measures were taken in the area.
Kante went to the area where the fans were gathered along with the Fenerbahçe executives and greeted them. The yellow-navy fans created an enthusiastic atmosphere with chants, and fireworks were set off.
The French footballer then left the area in a vehicle that was waiting for him at the airport.
