Fenerbahçe has acquired that European team!
It has been claimed that Fenerbahçe, which is accelerating its transfer efforts ahead of the new season, has acquired an 85 percent stake in a European club.
Continuing its preparations for the new season with the goal of winning the championship, Fenerbahçe has shifted gears in the transfer market. Important developments are taking place one after another for the yellow-navy blues as they take action to strengthen their squad.
Breaking its silence in the summer transfer window by loaning Jhon Duran, who plays for Al Nassr, Fenerbahçe is now preparing to make its second move with Milan Skriniar. The management, having invited the Slovak defender to Istanbul, is expected to finalize this transfer officially in the near future.
In addition to its transfer operations, the club management has also made a notable investment on the international stage.
SURPRISE PARTNERSHIP IN NORTH MACEDONIA
According to a report by Meridian Sport Srbija, Fenerbahçe has purchased an 85 percent stake in Bregalnica Stip, a team in the North Macedonian Second League. The value of the agreement was announced as 300 thousand euros.
PAYMENT DETAILS AND CONTRACTUAL CLAUSE
As part of the acquisition, half of the 300 thousand euros paid by Fenerbahçe was given to the club's previous owner, while the other half went to the current management, which holds the remaining 15 percent stake.
A notable special clause was also included in the agreement: If Bregalnica Stip is relegated to the 3rd League, the entire club will be transferred to the Stip Municipality.
