Fenerbahçe makes official application to TFF regarding disciplinary board correspondence

Fenerbahçe Sports Club announced that it has made an official application to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regarding certain correspondence that allegedly belongs to members of the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) and has become a trending topic on social media. The club stated that these messages violate the principle of impartiality and contain hostile remarks directed at Fenerbahçe.

In the statement released by the yellow-navy club, it was noted: "We believe that this hostile mentality, which clearly violates the principle of impartiality and is filled with settling scores and revenge, has no place in Turkish sports. Respectfully announced to the Fenerbahçe community and the public."

Among the allegations reflected in the public domain, it is claimed that PFDK members shared messages targeting Fenerbahçe in WhatsApp groups, used mocking and derogatory language toward the club, and even sent messages of "revenge" for the upcoming season. It is alleged that the correspondence included remarks such as, "When one sees 1905, one inevitably turns into the 'Structure' all of a sudden," and that videos shared on social media regarding Fenerbahçe were discussed.

In the official letter sent by Fenerbahçe to the TFF, the following demands were listed:

  1. The allegations should be investigated in all their dimensions, quickly and transparently,
  2. The correspondence should be examined and the necessary administrative and disciplinary investigations should be initiated against the relevant board members,
  3. The club and the public should be informed immediately about the entire process.

Fenerbahçe emphasized that it will follow the matter closely and continue its fight for clean football. The club stated that they expect the necessary steps to be taken so that the TFF's institutional reputation and public credibility are not negatively affected by this process.
