Fenerbahçe officially announces election date

While claims regarding a change in the election date at Fenerbahçe were on the agenda, the announcement put an end to the discussions. The club management announced that the Extraordinary Elective General Assembly will be held on June 6-7 at the former Kenan Evren High School land located next to the Chobani Stadium.

The statement made by the club included the following:

“Our club's Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting will be held to discuss the agenda items specified below on May 29-30, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the former Kenan Evren High School land located on the adjacent parcel to the Chobani Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, at the address of Zühtüpaşa Neighborhood, Recep Peker Street, Door No:3A and No:5, Kadıköy/Istanbul.

If a sufficient quorum is not reached at the first meeting, the General Assembly will convene on June 6-7, 2026, at the same place and time, with the same agenda, without a quorum requirement.”

The statement noted that the number of members eligible to participate in the General Assembly is 44 thousand 741, and stated that members can collect their entry cards from the application desks along with their identification.

On the other hand, it was reported that, in accordance with Article 28 of the bylaws, candidacy applications for the board chairman and board memberships can be submitted until 18:00 on May 22, 2026.
