Fenerbahçe reacts to TFF and MHK over refereeing! 'Errors that are no longer exceptions...'

Fenerbahçe was the guest of Antalyaspor in the 24th week of the Super Lig. Although the Yellow-Navies left the match with a 2-2 draw after falling behind 2-0, the point gap with the leader Galatasaray increased to 4. The Yellow-Navies had also missed an important opportunity last week by drawing 1-1 at home against Kasımpaşa, a week in which Galatasaray lost 2-0 to Konyaspor.

Fenerbahçe, which has lost points for 2 consecutive weeks, issued a written statement.

In the statement made by the club, a reaction was shown to refereeing errors.

Fenerbahçe's statement is as follows:

"TO THE PUBLIC

Since the beginning of the season, we have chosen to stay out of all debates and focus only on the pitch and the game. We wanted football to be discussed without falling into provocations or creating polemics. This stance of ours was not only on behalf of our club, but also a necessity of our responsibility to create a fairer, cleaner, and more respectable climate for the future of Turkish football, thinking of Turkish football. We have carried out the process until today in contact with our Federation, by taking the necessary initiatives and within a constructive dialogue ground. However, this common sense and our will to stay on the pitch does not mean that we will consent to our rights being usurped.

Refereeing errors that have occurred in recent weeks and are no longer exceptions clearly harm the sense of justice in football. Every decision on the pitch where effort is not rewarded touches not only the rights of a match but also the rights of a community.

Those who try to overshadow Fenerbahçe's efforts with consecutive erroneous refereeing decisions should know that we will not accept an order where those who speak out gain benefits, while those who remain silent and act like gentlemen are victimized. We will stand against every decision that ignores our sweat on the pitch.

We immediately expect the Turkish Football Federation and especially the MHK to take clear and concrete steps to move the process to the fairest and most transparent ground.

Fenerbahçe Sports Club"
