Fenerbahçe sells 4.80% of its shares to a foreign investor
Fenerbahçe Sports Club has announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has sold 4.80% of its capital in Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş. to a foreign investor. Following the sale, the club's shareholding ratio has decreased to 62.27%.
A surprise development has occurred at Fenerbahçe. In a statement made to the KAP, the yellow-navy club announced that 4.80% (12 million shares) of the capital held in Futbol A.Ş. has been sold to a foreign institutional investor.
HERE IS THE STATEMENT MADE BY FENERBAHÇE:
Fenerbahçe Sports Club has carried out the sale of 12,000,000 Group B shares, representing 4.80% of the issued capital held in Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş., to a foreign institutional investor via a special order.
The share sale price is 46.10 TL. As a result of the transaction, the ratio of shares held by Fenerbahçe Sports Club in Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş. has fallen to 62.27%. Respectfully announced to the public and our investors. In accordance with Article 11 of the Communiqué on Material Events, information regarding the details of the transaction subject to this statement is provided in the table below.
