Fenerbahçe, set to skip Super Cup, focuses on Europe

Following Fenerbahçe's decision not to play in tomorrow's Super Cup match, manager İsmail Kartal has set the upcoming match against Olympiacos as the primary target.

With the recovery of players who had been sidelined by injuries, Kartal is expected to field his ideal squad for the critical encounter. Fenerbahçe's entire focus has shifted to the UEFA Europa Conference League match against Olympiacos.

While Fenerbahçe will take the field with its U19 team for the Super Cup match, preparations for the Olympiacos game will begin on Sunday following a two-day break granted to the players.

According to a Milliyet report, Michy Batshuayi, Fred, İsmail Yüksek, Cengiz Ünder, Mert Hakan Yandaş, and Joshua King, who were unable to play in the Adana Demirspor match, are reported to be ready to play against Olympiacos.

It is stated that İsmail Kartal's hand has been strengthened by these developments and that the experienced manager will field his ideal starting eleven for the Olympiacos match. Having put the events of the Trabzonspor match behind them, the Fenerbahçe players are said to be fully focused on the game and united in their goal of winning the trophy in Europe. Fenerbahçe will face Olympiacos away on Thursday, April 11, at 19:45 TSI.
