Fenerbahçe shook Olympiakos but couldn't knock them down!
Fenerbahçe faced Olympiakos in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals. The yellow-navy team lost 3-2 to Olympiakos, leaving the decision for the next round to the match in Istanbul.
UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final matches have begun. The only remaining Turkish representative in Europe, Fenerbahçe, was the guest of Olympiakos.
The home team took a 3-0 lead with goals from Fortounis in the 8th minute, Jovetic in the 32nd minute, and Chiquinho in the 57th minute. Fenerbahçe reduced the deficit to one goal with a penalty scored by Dusan Tadic in the 67th minute and a goal by İrfan Can Kahveci in the 74th minute.
The match ended with a 3-2 victory for Olympiakos. The return leg of the tie will be played on April 18 at Ülker Stadium.
