Fenerbahçe signs Valencia star
The Yellow-Navy Blues have added American forward Braxton Key to their squad.
The Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team has signed a two-season contract with American basketball player Braxton Key. In a statement released by the club, it was announced that the 29-year-old player, who most recently played for Spain's Valencia Basket, will now compete for Fenerbahçe.
Key, who completed last season with the Spanish team Valencia, played a role in his team's championship run in the Liga Endesa. Additionally, the talented forward managed to achieve victory last year in the NBA G League while playing for the Delaware Blue Coats.
Continuing his career with various NBA teams, Braxton Key has also competed for the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, and Golden State Warriors.
Last season, the American player, who appeared in 34 matches with Valencia Basket—a team that reached the EuroLeague Final Four—drew attention with an average performance of 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
