Fenerbahçe suffers a setback in Samsun

Süper Lig’s 9th week featured a clash between Samsunspor and Fenerbahçe. The match, which turned into a goal duel, ended in a 2-2 draw.

The first goal of the match came from Fenerbahçe's Tadic; in the 24th minute, Tadic put his team ahead. At the beginning of the second half, in the 49th minute, Holse equalized for Samsunspor.

Fenerbahçe took the lead again in the 62nd minute with a stylish goal from Saint-Maximin. However, in the 88th minute, Soner equalized once more, and the match ended 2-2.

With this result, Fenerbahçe moved up to 17 points and sits in 4th place. Samsunspor, reaching 19 points, remained in 3rd place, maintaining their position above Fenerbahçe.

In the 30th minute, Holse met a pass from Bola from the right flank inside the penalty area and shot toward the back post, but goalkeeper Livakovic tipped the ball for a corner at the last moment.

In the 38th minute, Mert Müldür, who met a pass from Tadic inside the penalty area, fired a hard low shot, but goalkeeper Okan Kocuk blocked the ball on the goal line by diving.

In the 49th minute, Holse brought the match to a tie. In an attack developing from the left wing, Holse connected with a low cross and found the net with a clean one-touch finish: 1-1.

In the 62nd minute, Saint-Maximin dribbled past his opponent in a one-on-one situation and put his team ahead with a precise low shot: 2-1.

In the 88th minute, Soner equalized the match again with his strike: 2-2.
