Fenerbahçe takes action regarding the referee of the Plzen match! He confessed 3 years ago...

In the 4th week of the UEFA Europa League, Fenerbahçe drew 0-0 away against Viktoria Plzen. The penalty controversy that occurred in the final minutes of the match remains a hot topic. In the 90+5th minute, Fenerbahçe player Jhon Duran went down in the Plzen penalty area following a challenge by Sampson Dweh. However, Dutch referee Allard Lindhout, despite a warning from VAR referee Dennis Higler, decided not to award a penalty after reviewing the incident.

While this decision drew a strong reaction from the Fenerbahçe community, it has been reported that the club's management is preparing to file a complaint against referee Lindhout with UEFA. According to a report by the Sabah newspaper, the Fenerbahçe management will submit the referee's decision to UEFA with a detailed presentation.

On the other hand, it has emerged that three years ago, in a Dutch Eredivisie match between Utrecht and Vitesse, referee Lindhout made the same decision after going to VAR for a similar incident and later admitted that his decision was incorrect.
