Fenerbahçe's Champions League journey begins: Who are the potential opponents?
Fenerbahçe will enter the UEFA Champions League from the 3rd Qualifying Round, and their potential opponents include some strong teams.
Fenerbahçe, having finished the Süper Lig in second place, will begin their UEFA Champions League campaign in the 3rd Qualifying Round. Among the potential opponents the yellow-navy team could face in this round are clubs such as Benfica, Feyenoord, and Nice. Fenerbahçe's UEFA coefficient is lower than those of Benfica and Feyenoord, but higher than that of Nice. The team joining from Belgium is expected to be either Saint-Gilloise or Club Brugge; of these two, Saint-Gilloise has a lower coefficient than Fenerbahçe, while Club Brugge has a higher one.

For Fenerbahçe to be seeded in the 3rd Qualifying Round, they must be among the top four teams. It is already certain that Benfica and Feyenoord will be seeded. For Fenerbahçe to be seeded, it is a requirement that Club Brugge becomes the champion in Belgium.
FENERBAHÇE'S POTENTIAL OPPONENTS
If Fenerbahçe passes the 3rd Qualifying Round, they will advance to the play-off round, where they will face one of the other three teams. If they successfully pass this round as well, they will earn the right to participate in the UEFA Champions League.
Potential opponents include Rangers from Scotland, Panathinaikos from Greece, Brann from Norway, Viktoria Plzen or Banik Ostrava from Czechia, Servette or Young Boys from Switzerland, and the runner-up of the Austrian League (Sturm Graz, Austria Wien, Wolfsberger, or Salzburg).
WHEN ARE THE DRAWS?
The draw dates and match schedules are as follows: The draw for the 3rd Qualifying Round will be held on July 21, 2025, and the matches will be played on August 5-6 and August 12. The play-off round draw will take place on August 4, 2025, and the matches will be held on August 19-20 and August 26-27.
