Fenerbahçe's historic trophy to be sold at auction

The trophy won by Fenerbahçe in the 1911-1912 season, when they became champions of the Istanbul League for the first time, is waiting to find its new owner at the Collectible Items Auction. This special trophy was presented to Arif Emirzade Bey, who was both a player and president of Fenerbahçe.
This historical artifact, which will be up for sale as part of the auction, stands out as a piece of a private collection. According to information on the auction house's website, the trophy, which is made of bronze and decorated with an engraving technique, is 10 centimeters in diameter. Dated Hijri 1329-30 / Gregorian 1911-12, this trophy was presented in memory of the first championship Fenerbahçe won in its sixth season in the Istanbul League.
