FIFA rejects TFF's request
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that its request for an additional transfer window, submitted to FIFA on November 10, was rejected due to international transfer regulations.
In a statement on the federation's website, it was stated, "Our request for an additional transfer window, which we submitted to FIFA on November 10, 2025, was not accepted by FIFA in their response letter dated November 15, 2025, citing international transfer regulations."
Emphasizing that the leagues will be played as planned and previously announced, the statement included the following:
"Furthermore, the transfer window for amateur players continues until November 27, 2025. In this regard, according to the current status, TFF 3rd League clubs have the right to register, include in the match squad list, and field players born on or after 01.01.2005 until this date.
In the TFF 2nd League status, it is regulated that amateur players born on 01.01.2005 who have been registered with their club for at least 6 months can be included in the match squad list without being written on the A-team list. As in the TFF 3rd League, it has been made possible for amateur players born on or after 01.01.2005 whose transfers have been completed to play in the TFF 2nd League without waiting for 6 months."
