Finalists for the Kırkpınar chief wrestler title have been determined

Excitement reached its peak on the final day of the 665th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling tournament held in Edirne. In the semi-final matches held in the arena, opponents were determined by a draw, and the finalists emerged.

As a result of the draw, Erkan Taş was paired with Seçkin Duman, and Mustafa Taş with Feyzullah Aktürk. The wrestlers entered the arena performing the traditional 'peşrev' and began their struggle after greeting the spectators.

The first semi-final between Erkan Taş and Seçkin Duman started quickly, but the tempo of the match decreased as time passed. Erkan Taş tried to gain an advantage with 'kasnak' (hoop) techniques, but Seçkin Duman was successful in defense. Since the score did not change during regular time, the match moved to the scoring section. In this section, Erkan Taş defeated his opponent with a 'kasnak paça' move and secured his place in the final.

In the other semi-final, Mustafa Taş and Feyzullah Aktürk faced off. This match also had a very high tempo in the first minutes. Although Mustafa Taş's consecutive 'el ense' (neck-grabbing) attacks drew attention, Feyzullah Aktürk responded with 'kasnak' techniques. Since no advantage could be gained in regular time, the match went to scoring. Here, Feyzullah Aktürk managed to win by dodging his opponent's move.

With these results, Erkan Taş and Feyzullah Aktürk will face each other in the chief wrestler final of the 665th Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling tournament.
