Finalists to be determined in the Turkish Cup

The semi-final matches in the Ziraat Turkish Cup begin today. At this stage of the 2024/25 season, Konyaspor will face Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor will face Göztepe. The first match between Konyaspor and Galatasaray will start at 20:30 at the MEDAŞ Konya Metropolitan Stadium and will be officiated by referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy.

The other semi-final match will be played on Thursday, April 24, between Trabzonspor and Göztepe at Papara Park. The referee for this match will be Cihan Aydın, and the match will also start at 20:30. The teams that will advance to the final will be determined as a result of these matches, which will be played in a single-elimination format. Konyaspor began its Turkish Cup journey in the 3rd round, eliminating 23Elazığ and Kepezspor before defeating Karacabey Belediyesi in the 5th round to reach the group stage. Galatasaray drew with Başakşehir and Konyaspor in the group stage and defeated Boluspor away. They secured their spot in the semi-finals by beating Fenerbahçe 2-1 in the quarter-finals.

Trabzonspor defeated Alanyaspor and Çaykur Rizespor in the group stage and drew with İskenderunspor. They reached the semi-finals by eliminating Bodrum FK in the quarter-finals.

Göztepe reached the group stage by defeating Bucaspor in the 5th round. They finished the group stage as leaders after defeating Erzurumspor, Gaziantep FK, and Kasımpaşa. They advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Beşiktaş away in the quarter-finals.
