Fines rain down on Süper Lig clubs: 48 million TL!

The Professional Football Discipline Committee's penalties have been announced. Since the start of the season, the PFDK has issued the highest fine to Fenerbahçewith 8 million 77 thousand liras, though this figure dropped to 7 million 182 thousand 500 liras following reductions by the Arbitration Committee.

The yellow-navy club was followed by Beşiktaş , which was fined 8 million 4 thousand liras. The black-and-white team's penalty also decreased to 6 million 804 thousand liras after Arbitration reductions.

Since the beginning of the season, a total of 48 million 224 thousand 500 liras in fines have been imposed on Süper Lig clubs.

The amount of the fine reduced by the Arbitration Board was 7 million 481 thousand 142 liras and 86 kuruş. When this amount is deducted, the total fine imposed on the clubs stands at 40 million 743 thousand 357 liras and 14 kuruş.

FENERBAHÇE RECEIVES THE MOST FINES 

Fenerbahçe, which was fined 8 million 77 thousand liras by the PFDK this season, topped the list in this regard. The Arbitration Board granted the yellow-navy team a total reduction of 894 thousand 500 liras. After the reductions, the total fine imposed on the club became 7 million 182 thousand 500 liras.

A portion of the fine for Fenerbahçe, amounting to 3 million 418 thousand liras, was issued due to ugly and bad chants, failure to keep stairwells clear, and pitch incidents caused by their fans. In the yellow-navy team, 2 million 198 thousand liras of the fine was attributed to President Ali Koç and the club's executives.

While President Ali Koç was fined 1 million 120 thousand liras on 4 separate occasions, executives Burak Çağlan Kızılhan, Selahattin Baki, Ahmet Ketenci, and Can Gebetaş received a total of 1 million 78 thousand liras in fines across 6 different instances.

The club was also fined 2 million 200 thousand liras due to statements made by its executives.

The Arbitration Board applied a total reduction of 842 thousand 500 liras to the fines imposed on the club regarding the management level and the statements made.

President Ali Koç received a reduction of 210 thousand liras, Selahattin Baki 200 thousand liras, and Burak Çağlan Kızılhan 19 thousand 500 liras. In addition to these reductions, an Arbitration discount of 400 thousand liras was applied to the fine imposed on the club due to the executives' statements.

A TOTAL OF 4 MILLION LIRA FINE FOR BEŞİKTAŞ 

Following Fenerbahçe, the club that received the most fines was Beşiktaş. The black-and-white club was issued a total fine of 8 million 4 thousand liras.

After the Arbitration Board reduced their fine by 1 million 200 thousand liras, the black-and-white club was penalized with a total of 6 million 804 thousand liras.

For the black-and-white club, 3 million 968 thousand liras of the fine was imposed due to ugly and bad chants, pitch incidents caused by their fans, and failure to keep stairwells clear.

In Beşiktaş, the former president Ahmet Nur Çebiwas fined a total of 1 million liras on 3 separate occasions, while former executives Engin Baltacı and Emre Kocadağ was fined a total of 1 million liras on 3 separate occasions. Beşiktaş's new board member Feyyaz Uçarwas also fined 200 thousand liras.

While the club president and executives of the black-and-white team were fined a total of 2 million 200 thousand liras, the club itself was also fined a total of 1 million 800 thousand liras due to statements made by the president and executives.

A total fine reduction of 600 thousand liras was applied, consisting of 200 thousand liras for former president Ahmet Nur Çebi, 200 thousand liras for former board member Emre Kocadağ, and 200 thousand liras for current board member Feyyaz Uçar.

PRESIDENT ERTUĞRUL DOĞAN RECEIVED THE MOST FINES 

Trabzonspor ranked third among the clubs that received the most fines.

While the Black Sea team was fined a total of 5 million 15 thousand liras by the PFDK, a discount of 527 thousand 142 liras and 86 kuruş was applied to this amount.

Following the discount, Trabzonspor was fined a total of 4 million 487 thousand 857 liras and 14 kuruş.

President Ertuğrul Doğan received 1 million 820 thousand liras in fines on 5 separate occasions. With the amount of fines he received, Doğan became the club president who was fined the most this season.

The Arbitration Board applied a discount of 327 thousand 142 liras and 86 kuruş to Ertuğrul Doğan's fine.

Of the 5 million 15 thousand lira fine received by the Black Sea team, 1 million 444 thousand liras were issued due to incidents caused by their fans.

The claret-blues were also the only club to be fined this season for the article regarding the "use of the announcement system to support the home team." The club was fined 112 thousand liras for this reason.

5 MILLION 284 THOUSAND LIRA FINE FOR GALATASARAY 

While Galatasaray was issued a total of 5 million 284 thousand lira in fines by the PFDK this season, the Arbitration Board reduced this penalty by 1 million 343 thousand lira. The yellow-red club became the third most penalized team in the league in terms of fines issued, but ranked fourth in the amount of fines paid following the reductions made by the Arbitration Board.

Following the reductions, a total fine of 3 million 941 thousand lira was imposed on Galatasaray.

President Dursun Özbek was fined 1 million 189 thousand lira on 4 separate occasions, while Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Erden Timur was fined a total of 343 thousand lira across 2 different periods. The President and management level of the yellow-reds received a total of 1 million 532 thousand lira in fines.

A reduction of 500 thousand lira was applied to the 1 million 189 thousand lira fine given to Dursun Özbek, and a reduction of 243 thousand lira was applied to the 343 thousand lira fine given to Erden Timur.

A 600 thousand lira reduction was made to the 2 million lira fine imposed on Galatasaray Club due to statements made by its executives and social media posts.

The yellow-reds also received a 150 thousand lira fine for the unauthorized use of documents and a 195 thousand lira fine for violating the Süper Lig and TFF 1st League Broadcasting Instructions.

KAYSERİSPOR FINED 3 TIMES 

Mondihome Kayserispor, which has been fined a total of 1 million 889 thousand liras since the start of the season, was penalized an additional 844 thousand liras due to stairwells not being kept clear and pitch incidents caused by its fans.

The yellow-red team was fined on three separate occasions under the article for "unauthorized spectator entry into the stadium." Kayserispor was fined a total of 840 thousand liras due to this article.

The yellow-red club's kit manager, Muammer Kaya, was also fined 39 thousand liras for unsportsmanlike conduct toward the match referee, becoming the only kit manager to receive a penalty in the season so far.

One of the unique penalties this season was issued to Hatayspor, and another to Gaziantep FK.

Hatayspor was fined 112 thousand liras for the absence of paramedic staff and a doctor, while Gaziantep FK was fined 112 thousand liras because their groundskeeper failed to attend the stadium inspection and match organization meeting.

FANS CAUSED THE HIGHEST FINES 

Of the 48 million 224 thousand 500 liras in fines issued by the PFDK to clubs this season, 20 million 855 thousand liras were imposed due to ugly and bad chanting, failure to keep stairwells clear, and pitch incidents caused by fans.

While presidents and executives were fined a total of 12 million 462 thousand liras, statements made by management and posts shared on social media cost clubs an 8 million 700 thousand lira bill. The total cost to clubs from statements made by presidents, executives, and social media posts reached 21 million 162 thousand liras.

While a total of 1 million 959 thousand 500 liras in fines were issued to athletes and officials, clubs were penalized with a total of 4 million 248 thousand liras for various reasons.

Following the matches played in the 26th week of the Süper Lig, Kasımpaşa, Antalyaspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Fenerbahçe, Adana Demirspor, Pendikspor, Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, Gaziantep FK, Samsunspor, MKE Ankaragücü, and Galatasaray were referred to the PFDK.
