Galatasaray and Dursun Özbek have been referred to the PFDK on the grounds of 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football.'
Galatasaray Club and president Dursun Özbek have been referred to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) due to 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football' included in a post on the club's official social media account.
The referrals made to the Professional Football Discipline Committee by the Turkish Football Federation Legal Consultancy on 19.02.2025 have been announced.
The referrals made to the committee are as follows:
"It has been decided to refer GALATASARAY A.Ş. Club to the PFDK in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football' included in the post made on the club's official social media account on 19.02.2025,
It has been decided to refer GALATASARAY A.Ş. Club President DURSUN AYDIN ÖZBEK to the PFDK without precaution in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football' included in the post made on the club's official social media account on 19.02.2025."
