Galatasaray's squad for the Juventus match has been announced
Following their historic victory in Istanbul, Galatasaray is visiting Juventus in the Champions League. The starting 11 determined by manager Okan Buruk and the qualification scenarios are a subject of great interest.
In the first leg of the Champions League play-off round, Galatasaray gained a significant advantage by defeating Juventus 5-2 at home. Having completed their preparations for the away leg, the Yellow-Reds aim to protect their advantage against their strong opponent and secure their place in the Round of 16. The match will kick off at 23:00 TSI at the Allianz Stadium, with Portuguese referee Joao Pinheiro set to officiate.
With the score advantage gained in the first match, Galatasaray will advance to the next round even in the event of a draw or a defeat by a margin of 1 or 2 goals. A 3-goal victory for Juventus would send the match to extra time, while the Italian side must win by a 4-goal margin to advance.
If the Yellow-Reds secure their spot in the Round of 16, they will face either Tottenham or Liverpool in the quarter-finals.
CHANGES MADE BY OKAN BURUK TO THE STARTING 11
Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is preparing to make two key adjustments to the squad that succeeded in the first leg. Mario Lemina, known for his defensive capabilities, will start in place of Gabriel Sara. Additionally, Leroy Sane, who has recovered from his injury, will take the place of Yunus Akgün in the lineup. The rest of the player selections remain the same as those who started in the first match.
Galatasaray's probable starting 11 against Juventus is as follows: Uğurcan, Sallai, Sanchez, Abdülkerim, Jakobs, Lemina, Torreira, Sane, Lang, Barış, Osimhen.
The predicted lineup for the hosts, Juventus, is as follows: Di Gregorio, Kalulu, Gatti, Kelly, Kostic, Locatelli, Thuram, Koopmeiners, Conceiçao, McKennie, Kenan.
Both teams will put all their cards on the table to advance. Following their historic triumph in Istanbul, Galatasaray aims to make history once again in Italy.
