Galatasaray management visits Anıtkabir

Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Aydın Özbek and members of the club's board of directors visited Anıtkabir in Ankara. During the visit, Özbek was accompanied by board members as well as representatives from the Ankara Galatasaray Executives and Businessmen Association (1905 AGS).

The yellow-red delegation laid a wreath at Atatürk's mausoleum at Anıtkabir, followed by a moment of silence, and posed for a commemorative photo on the steps of Anıtkabir. The delegation then proceeded to the Misak-ı Milli Tower to conclude the official ceremony.

During the visit, Galatasaray President Dursun Aydın Özbek wrote the following in the Anıtkabir Special Book: "The founder of our Republic, our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, today, as the President of Galatasaray Sports Club, I am experiencing the pride and excitement of being in your spiritual presence. The principles and values of our Republic, which you entrusted to us, have always been the strongest guide illuminating the path of Galatasaray Sports Club. The Republic is the greatest work of equal opportunity, modernization, self-confidence, and faith in a bright future. As the Galatasaray community, we see keeping this legacy alive in the generations we raise and the values we represent as one of our most important responsibilities. Inspired by you, we will continue to trust our youth, represent our country successfully in the international arena, and carry the values of our Republic to future generations. On behalf of the Galatasaray community, we once again express our commitment to your trust and the goals you have set, and we bow before your cherished memory with respect, gratitude, and appreciation."
