Galatasaray manages to topple Man U in England

In the second match of the Champions League Group A, our representative Galatasaray traveled to face Manchester United.

Winning the match 3-2 with a magnificent comeback, Cimbom secured their first victory in the group.

While Manchester United's goals came from Rasmus Hojlund in the 17th and 67th minutes, the goals that brought victory to Galatasaray were scored by Zaha in the 23rd minute, Kerem Aktürkoğlu in the 71st minute, and Mauro Icardi in the 81st minute.

For the English side, Casemiro received a red card in the 77th minute, while Galatasaray's Mauro Icardi missed a penalty kick in the 78th minute.

With this result, Galatasaray increased their points to 4 and rose to second place in the group.

Manchester United failed to secure a win in their second match and remained at 0 points.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS (SECOND HALF)

In the 53rd minute, Rashford, advancing with the ball from the right wing, entered the penalty area from the right diagonal. In the pass Rashford sent inside after coming face-to-face with goalkeeper Muslera, Sacha Boey intervened before Bruno Fernandes and sent the ball out.

In the 54th minute, following a corner kick taken from the left wing, goalkeeper Muslera deflected Mount's powerful shot from the right of the penalty arc for a corner.

In the 67th minute, Höjlund, who intercepted the ball after Sanchez slipped in midfield, entered the penalty area at speed and found the back of the net with his shot while face-to-face with goalkeeper Muslera. 2-1

In the 70th minute, following a cross from Barış Alper on the right, goalkeeper Onana spilled the ball, and Zaha passed it to Kerem. Kerem Aktürkoğlu's shot from a central position went just wide.
