The Galatasaray Club Annual Budget Meeting has begun at the Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center Anadolu Auditorium.

Making the opening speech of the meeting, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek put forward Eşref Alaçayır, who was proposed for the chairmanship of the council, to a vote. Alaçayır was elected chairman of the budget meeting by unanimous vote.

DURSUN ÖZBEK ANNOUNCED HIS CANDIDACY

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek announced that he will be a candidate again in the Yellow-Red club's presidential election to be held in May.

In his statement, Özbek said, "Together with my friends, we have tried to fulfill this honorable duty you have entrusted to us. We have never tired of working for our Galatasaray. The most important thing that has always kept us standing was the support you gave. I believe that during this period, we have shown what Galatasaray can achieve in unity and solidarity. We have our elective ordinary general assembly on May 25. I would like to announce in your presence that I am a candidate for this honorable position once again."
