Galatasaray reacts to TFF disciplinary decisions
Galatasaray has issued a statement titled 'Does it sit well with your conscience to still sit in those seats?' in response to today's PFDK referrals regarding the events that took place after the Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe match.
The following statements were made in the announcement published on the yellow-reds' official social media account:
"The referrals made and not made regarding the events that took place in the Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe match have once again clearly revealed how incompetent, unjust, and submissive to threats the Turkish Football Federation is.
The administrators and boards of the Turkish Football Federation have bowed to the pressures of a single club and a single individual, both on and off the pitch, for the last 2 seasons. They have allowed this spoiled and reckless individual to constantly trample on the law. In all decisions made, whether regarding referee errors or disciplinary referrals, they have bowed to pressure and have never been able to take a stance in favor of justice.
They have never been able to establish the justice required to keep football on the pitch. All the decisions these administrators and boards have made out of fear and anxiety will be remembered as a black mark in football history and will always be judged by society.
Still, with a glimmer of hope, we ask everyone sitting in those seats: Does it sit well with your conscience to still be there and pretend to do your job?"
