Galatasaray's starting XI for RFS away match announced

Galatasaray will face Latvian side RFS away in the second week of the UEFA Europa League.

The match, which will be played at Daugava Stadium in Riga, the capital of Latvia, will start at 19:45. The match will be broadcast live on TRT 1.

Rigas Skola: Ondoa, Odisharia, Ikaunieks, Savalnieks, Ndjiki, Kouadio, Prenga, Panic, Marhiev, Njier, Lipuscek

Galatasaray: Günay, Kaan, Sanchez, Abdülkerim, Jakobs, Gabriel Sara, Torreira, Yunus Akgün, Mertens, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Icardi.

The yellow-red team, which finished the last 2 seasons as champions in the Trendyol Super Lig, started this season with the goal of competing in the UEFA Champions League. Galatasaray, which had to play in the play-offs to be in the 36-team group stage of the renewed format, could not get past Swiss side Young Boys.

Galatasaray won its first match in the "Cup 2" organized with its new format, defeating Greek side PAOK 3-1. The yellow-red team ranked 5th on goal difference among the 13 teams that completed the first week matches with a victory.

RFS, which reached the title for the second time in its history by finishing last season as champions in the Latvian First Football League (Virsliga), started the UEFA Europa League with a 4-1 defeat to Romanian side FCSB.
