Galatasaray targets World Cup-winning star for left-back position
Galatasaray has parted ways with Angelino, whose contract included a clause stating that a 6 million euro purchase option would be triggered if he played 20 matches. The yellow-reds have now turned their attention to Olympique Lyonnais' Argentine left-back Nicolas Tagliafico to fill the position.

Angelino, who is expected to sign a contract with Roma, is anticipated to finalize the official agreement soon.
Following Angelino's departure, Galatasaray, in search of a new player for the left-back position, has begun negotiations with Olympique Lyonnais and the player for the transfer of Nicolas Tagliafico. The Argentine left-back, who has a current market value of 8 million Euros, has 1.5 years remaining on his contract with Lyon.
Tagliafico was also a member of the Argentina squad that won the World Cup.
