Galatasaray to fill its coffers if it becomes champion!
Galatasaray will take the field tomorrow against Konyaspor to secure its 24th Süper Lig championship. The yellow-reds, who will clinch the title if they earn even 1 point from the match, will also fill their coffers.
Galatasaray entered the 38th and final week of the Süper Lig as the leader with a significant advantage, 3 points ahead of its closest rival, Fenerbahçe.
Galatasaray will face Konyaspor away tomorrow in the final week. A single point will be enough for "Cimbom" to win the championship. If Galatasaray reaches a happy ending, it will secure its 24th championship in the 66th season of the league. The yellow-reds, who are the team with the most championships in the league, will move 5 titles ahead of their closest rival, Fenerbahçe (19).
If Galatasaray crosses the finish line first this season, it will come very close to adding the 5th star to its jersey. The yellow-reds, who remain the only team with the right to carry 4 stars on their jersey, will take a victory lap for the 24th time if they become champions this season. Cimbom will be one championship away from winning its fifth star.

OKAN BURUK CLOSE TO EXPANDING HIS TROPHY COLLECTION
Galatasaray Head Coach Okan Buruk is very close to becoming a champion for the 3rd time in his coaching career. Having previously won the championship at the helm of İstanbul Başakşehir in the 2019-2020 season, Buruk repeated the same success with Galatasaray last season. The experienced coach will experience victory for the 2nd time in a row and the 3rd time in total if they leave tomorrow's match with 1 point. Okan Buruk, who is the person with the most championships in the Süper Lig in his career as both a player (7) and a coach (2), will increase his total number of championships to 10 if he lifts the trophy this season.
8 PLAYERS WILL EXPERIENCE CHAMPIONSHIP JOY FOR THE FIRST TIME
If Galatasaray returns happily from Konya tomorrow, 8 of the players who have played in the Süper Lig this season will experience a championship at the top league level for the first time. Wilfried Zaha, who played top-level football in England for years, along with Kerem Demirbay, who has a career that reached the German National Team, as well as Derrick Köhn, Carlos Vinicius, Eyüp Aydın, and youth academy products Ali Turap Bülbül, Efe Akman, and Baran Demiroğlu will wear the championship epaulet for the first time in their careers.
GALATASARAY WILL FILL ITS COFFERS
Galatasaray will put approximately 240 million lira into its coffers with the championship it has achieved. The yellow-red team earned 38 million 30 thousand lira for league participation and 77 million 625 thousand lira as a "champions' share" fee for its 23 championships. Galatasaray, which has 32 wins and 3 draws after 37 weeks in the Süper Lig, earned 83 million 348 thousand lira as a performance bonus. After guaranteeing the championship, "Cimbom" will also be entitled to a 39.8 million lira bonus. Thus, Galatasaray's income from the broadcasting pool this season will reach 238 million 803 thousand lira. After deducting the federation and lower league shares from the broadcasting revenue, payments are made to clubs based on certain criteria. Accordingly, 38 million 30 thousand lira is paid as a participation fee, 3 million 375 thousand lira for each previous championship, 2 million 488 thousand for each win, and half of the win bonus for each draw.
